Therese made her youngest a beautiful fun birthday cake for her big day today!
She started with two boxes of strawberry cake and baked them into 5 different cake pans a square 2 circles, a heart and a cupcake on top...
Then on top of a jellyroll pan she stacked them up high, with of course the cupcake on the top...
She mixed vanilla and chocolate frosting to get two different colored sand for the bottom and ariels rock then haphazardly frosted it on...
Next she sprinkled chocolate and sugar around to add sand and pebbles to the rock...
(sorry about the terrible picture)
After that she tapped ariel to a tent stake and stuck it into the cake with a few popsicle sticks as support, (covering those unsightly things with frosting)
A close up of the sticks...she was moving so fast with the process i couldn't get the pictures fast enough!
Finally she added the treasures and the back drop she painted the night before...
